The 2022 Club Championships ended on Saturday 3rd September, culminating in the At Home that evening. We were lucky to have glorious sunshine for almost the entire two weeks and there was a fantastic atmosphere every night with lots of people watching the matches from our new balcony.
The standard of play was very high and despite a rain-soaked finals day on Saturday, there was exceptional tennis on display. The club crowned a first-time Ladies Champion – Kate Egan – and a second-time Men’s Champion – Oisin Shaffrey. Congratulations to them and to all the other winners and runners up.
