The Club Championships will take place from Sunday August 24th to Saturday September 6th. Online entry is open from Monday 4th August until Wednesday 20th August. We are delighted to announce that this year, the At Home will be sponsored by ODGERS.
There are events to suit all standards so please sign up. It is a great way to improve your tennis and meet new friends and playing partners.
This year, we are reintroducing the Veteran’s Mixed Doubles event. We have a beautiful perpetual trophy for this event that sadly has not been awarded in several years and we feel it’s about time it got a good polish! This event is open to players who attain their 50th birthday or older in 2025.
This is a Team event. Each team will have 4 pairs ranging in standard from advanced to social players. Everyone gets matches with partners and opposition of similar ability. And everyone has a chance of getting on the podium because they are part of a team.
You may enter a preferred partner for this event, but the tournament committee may assign a different partner if it is necessary to balance teams.
The exact format of the event will depend on the numbers entering, but the draw will be in round robin format with each team playing at least 2 matches and at least one match occurring in week 2.
This year, the Senior League starts on Sunday August 31st, so we are missing the middle Sunday. We plan to start matches on Sunday 24th, but we understand that some players may still be on summer holidays.
