Avoid Scams and Financial Fraud

In association with An Garda Síochána (Community Engagement, Dún Laoghaire), the club will host a talk on cyber-security and avoiding financial fraud.
Computer and phone scams are becoming more prevalent and no one is immune.
- Protect yourself against bogus tradepeople
- Recognise phishing emails and texts
- Identify “honey traps”

This talk is open to members and their families and we have invited our neighbours also. If you would like to know more, or if you are looking for advice on how to protect elderly family members, please come along.
Tea/coffee will be served at 11am and the talk starts at 11.30am, so come early to meet our neighbours.
