Tennis Ireland Certified Level 4 Performance Coach
Conor Casey is a Level 4 Tennis Ireland tennis coach who has over 30 years coaching experience. He started off his coaching career in Japan under the guidance of one of Japan’s most renowned Tennis Coaches, Hiroshi Miyamura, at the Miyamura Tennis Centre where he attained a professional creditation with the JPTA & USPTR coaching association . After 4 years in Japan he continued his coaching career working under Dave Miley at the Maidstone Tennis and Fitness Centre. After his spell in England, he returned to Ireland where Paul and Conor ran Ireland’s most renowned Casey Tennis Academy in Kilternan. After Kilternan closed, Conor took up the position of head coach at Sandycove Tennis club from 2004 to 2006. From 2006 to date he became head coach of Co. Wicklow Lawn Tennis Club.
As a tennis player, Conor has had success in winning Class 1 Singles, Men’s Doubles and Mixed Doubles titles and has represented Ireland at over 35 level. He was also a member of the Glenageary men’s team that won Class 1 summer leagues.
