Hi ladies,
I hope you all had a great Christmas and have made some good resolutions for 2020. If you haven't made any yet, here are a few suggestions...
I will play more tennis in 2020!
 I will play 3 Winter League challenge matches by January 19th.
Tennis racket restringing I will have my racquets restrung in time for Winter League starting on January 26th. (If you only have one racquet, you really should invest in a second - just in case!)
Tennis shoes I will check soles of my tennis shoes and purchase new ones if necessary.
Tennis balls I will buy at least 3 tins of new balls (league quality) so that my practice matches are as close as possible to league conditions.
There are only 18 days left to play challenge matches (last date Sunday 19th January), so please try to play as many as you can in this time.
Please note that partnerships on the ladder are not set in stone for team selection. A couple of people have had to pull out and we need to juggle things a little, so please bear with us.
Winter League doubles coaching will start on Tuesday 7th January evening times and run for 3 weeks. There will be two sessions - one starting at 7pm and the second starting at 8pm. Players will be designated on one or other session - details to be confirmed by end of week. Cost is €20 for 3 lessons.
Whether or not you play league tennis, or purely social, I hope you all enjoy your tennis first and foremost, and I wish you a very happy and successful 2020 on court.
Yours in tennis,
Catherine Kerr
