As most of you will know, the format is quite different this year with all players/partnerships going into one Championship draw and a Plate in each draw which will replace the Graded events.

Scheduled slots are 6:00pm, 7:30pm and 9pm weekdays and from 11am, 12:00pm, 1:30pm, 3:00pm, 5:30pm on weekends. First matches start on Monday 24th. We have scheduled all first round matches for all events, including for those players who get a bye. We expect to have all first matches completed by Thursday evening and to be able to do the Plate draw then.

We have also scheduled some second round matches and beyond but further scheduling cannot be done until the results of previous rounds are known - so you need to keep an eye on the website every day to make sure you don't miss anything.

We really need your full cooperation if the schedule is to run smoothly -

  • Since there are so many matches to be played we have scheduled 9 courts for 3 match times in the first week. Therefore, we do need your help and if at all possible can you complete your match during daytime before your scheduled time. If this doesn’t happen will mean that there will be some waiting for previous matches to finish. Let the captains know of your alternative arrangements by email to This email address is being protected from spambots. • If possible, arrive at the club 30 minutes before your scheduled time and you may well get to start your match early. We know that many matches will not take the full 90 minutes allocated and we want to make sure that court time is not wasted.

In line with the latest government guidelines on Covid-19, we request that players leave the club after their match is over (unless they are playing later that evening). There may be players who are waiting for a court to come free and we ask all players to observe 2m social distancing while waiting and to wear a mask if this is not possible.

Sadly, we won't have our usual At Home celebration on September 5th, but we hope that you enjoy your tennis.

Yours in tennis,

Catherine Kerr - Ladies Captain

Gary Ramsay - Men's Captain
